- The 2025 Sequoia starts at $64,120, including a destination fee of $1,945
- All 2025 Sequoias offer 437 hp and a maximum towing capacity of 9,520 pounds
The Toyota Sequoia has been trying to enter the full-size luxury SUV segment with the flagship Capstone, but Toyota has stepped up its game with a second top-tier option in the form of the new 1794 Edition, launched in 2025.
The related Tundra has offered a 1794 edition for years, but this is the first time one is available in the Sequoia lineup. The name is in recognition of the old ranch where the San Antonio factory where the Sequoia is built is located. The ranch was established in 1794 by Spanish settler Juan Ignacio de Casanova and was held by his descendants until 2003, when it was sold to Toyota.
Special touches for the 1794 edition include genuine walnut wood trim, standard leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, second-row captain’s chairs, 20-inch wheels, panoramic glass roof, and a towing technology package. The SUV also features custom badges inside and out.
The 1794 Edition Sequoia starts at $82,080 including a destination fee of $1,945.
